Which one fits which business
Grey Business is built for businesses in emerging markets that need USD account details, bulk payouts to teams and contractors in 170+ countries, and USDC on BEP20 and Solana. It charges no monthly fee and lists EUR and GBP accounts as coming soon. Helm provides international payments to suppliers and collections from buyers. The differences are USD, EUR and GBP details in the company's own name today, both USDC and USDT, trade finance arranged case by case, and a named account manager for every client.
The checklist behind the table
The items above are the ones that decide what an account costs a trading business and whether it covers the whole trade. The guide to the best business bank account for importers explains each item; the exporters' guide covers the receiving side.

Open accountQuestions
Is Helm cheaper than Grey?
It depends on your volume, currencies and rails. Helm sets pricing for each client and agrees it in writing before the account opens, so the fair test is Grey's published fees against a Helm proposal for your own monthly pattern. The three fees that matter most to a trading business are the SWIFT fee, the conversion fee and anything deducted when you are paid.
Can I use Helm and Grey together?
Yes. Many businesses hold more than one account. Helm account details in your company's name can be used alongside any other provider.
Where do these figures come from?
Helm agrees fees with each client before the account opens. Grey's figures are from grey.co/business, read on 21 October 2026. Fees change; check the provider's page before you decide.
